The objective of this project was to provide the international community convenient channels to understand the formulation, implementation and outcomes of Taiwan’s environmental protection policy measures. This was done by translating professional reports concerning developing and future trends related to Taiwan's environmental protection policy into English, and publishing them in a monthly periodical on the Internet and a quarterly one in print. As of December 2017, 12 issues of the English version of the Electronic Environmental Policy Monthly have been published. Also, four issues of the Environmental Policy Quarterly have been printed, with 900 copies for each issue, of which 100 were reserved for the EPA. A total of 708 printed copies were mailed out quarterly – 405 sent domestically and 303 internationally. A total of 4,230 copies were sent electronically. Combining the mail outs and electronic copies, the total subscriptions for the Environmental Policy Monthly and Quarterly was 4,938. Contents of the Monthly were provided to the Taiwan EPA for use on relevant departmental websites. Two editors were sent to the EPA to assist with the editing of English documents. Other tasks included producing and updating the EPA's multimedia English presentations and Spanish presentation as well as providing 150 multimedia CDs (100 in English, 50 in Spanish) and publishing 500 copies of the EPA's English introduction brochures.
